Genesis Chapter One:

How Great Thou Art
O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds thy hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed:
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to thee:
How great thou art! How great thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to thee:
How great thou art! How great thou art!
2 When through the woods and forest glades I wander
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees,
When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur,
And hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze:
3 And when I think how God, his Son not sparing,
Sent him to die, I scarce can take it in;
That on the cross, my burdens gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin:
4 When Christ shall come with shouts of acclamation,
To take me home, what joy will fill my heart!
Then I will bow in humble adoration,
And there proclaim, my God, how great thou art!
How Great Thou Art
I Sing the Mighty Power
I SING the mighty Pow’r of God, that made the mountains to rise,
That spread the flowing seas abroad, and built the lofty skies.
I sing the Wisdom that ordained the sun to rule the day;
The moon shines full at God’s command, and all the stars obey.
I sing the goodness of Ishi, who filled the earth with food
Who formed the creatures through the Word, and then pronounced them good.
Ishi, how Thy wonders are displayed, where’er I turn my eye,
If I survey the ground I tread, or gaze upon the sky.
There’s not a plant or flow’r be-low, but makes
Thy glories known, and clouds arise, and tempests blow, by order from
Thy Throne; Why all that borrows life from Thee is ever in Thy care;
And ev’rywhere that we can be, Thou, God, art present there.
He Is Still Working On Me
1) There really ought to be a sign upon my heart
Don't judge him yet, there's an unfinished part
But I'll be perfect just according to His plan
Fashioned by the Master's loving hands.
He's still working on me
To make me what I need to be
It took him just a week to make the moon and stars
The sun and the earth and Jupiter and Mars
How loving and patient He must be
'Cause He's still workin' on me.
2) In the mirror of His word,
Reflections that I see
Makes me wonder why He never gave up on me:
But He loves me as I am, and helps me when I pray;
Remember He's the potter, I'm the clay.
O, For the Joys of Heaven
O, for the joys of heaven,
I have left all the world;
Passing all across Jordan,
Now dwell in Canaan.
In Canaan, Oh how sweet place,
In Eden, Oh how sweet;
I have escaped all the world,
Now I dwell in Canaan.
O for the Grace of Jesus,
I’ve given up all things;
Drinking from His fountain,
I have now the Holy Ghost.
Now for the joy of Victory,
I have staged the battle;
Fighting my way all through,
I am so sure of victory.
O for the joys of that day,
I hold on the promise;
Waiting to fly away,
Born on the wings of His love.
To be filled the Holy Ghost,
My lamps trimmed and burning;
Watching for His appearing,
On that blessed morning.
