  1. Greetings in the name of Jesus…

I would love to hear about your revelation on sin as a person. It’s very confusing for me. Please help me understand the law and how sin has to be dealt with after Jesus defeated it on the Cross.

    1. Genesis 4:7 KJV
If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Sin lieth at the door… Unto thee shall be his desire… Therefore, sin is not an act by a thing, a parasite… Also called a sting:

      1 Corinthians 15:55 KJV
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

A sting stings and enters into, you see? Thus, sin is not a mere act but a thing with personality. Death holds a conscious sting by which he injects his venom in the soul. That sin is not an act but a thing, a person upon which one can rule, is clear in scriptures.

      Romans 5:12 KJV
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

That sin entered into the world, means sin is not an act but a thing that can enter in.

      Romans 7:17 KJV
Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

That sin dwelleth in a man, then it is not an act but something that can dwell somewhere. Evil actions are fruits or deeds of sin. Your acts manifest your colours. Sinful actions originate from sin. You commit sin not by acting wrong, but by cooperating with sin that dwelleth in you.

But after receiving Jesus Christ in your heart, sin is destroyed from your heart. As you believe and confess Jesus Christ, sin loses hold on you. You are set free from sin and from the law of sin through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. As you accept and believe it, the law of sin is removed from you and sin loses hold on you.

You may still make mistakes, but you can’t sin anymore because sin is not longer in you.

      James 1:15 KJV
Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Sin is not a mistake, but a thing likened to a seed that can be conceived in the heart. So, to be saved from sin is not by good works, but by Christ destroying that sting, that seed, that person from your heart. By faith sin and its power are rendered helpless before you.

Its faith that saves from sin the same way a certain drug can destroy disease parasites from your body. No amount of outward works can save you from the parasites within your body. You need to swallow drugs into your body to destroy the parasites. So it’s faith in Christ that destroys this parasite called sin from your heart. Yes, Jesus Christ is the drug that destroys sin from your life.
